On Saturday we joined Neil and Rebecca for their amazing wedding at Lainston house, When I say amazing I really do mean amazing
It was indeed a very lavish affair with 2 best Men, 7 Ushers, 5 Bridesmaids, 5 flower girls, 1 page boy, 5 vintage wedding cars and a beautiful Horse drawn carriage decorated with the family crest, 3 videographers and us 3 photographers……….
We started our day with Rebecca at her parents house which is in the next road up from us for some relaxed preparation and make up (done by Sarah Keenan) photos as well as some fun formal photos in the gardens whilst our 3rd photographer and good pal Gareth Cooper was with Neil and the boys at Neil’s house to cover the lads, We then met at St Edmunds Church on the Avenue for a beautiful full mass service led by our good friend Father Paul followed by confetti on the steps.
We then headed off to Lainston House, Neil and Rebecca in the Horse Drawn Carriage and everyone else from the bridal party in the cars, All of the cars were supplied by our very good friend Tony from Apollo Carriage who we have worked with and featured on our blog many times, his range of cars is simply amazing, I will post the details of the beautiful horses soon but I lost the card![]()
Waiting for us at Lainston House was the most amazing Marquee and a lovely champagne reception with Italian singers and just the perfect afternoon, we spent a couple of hours wandering around taking formal and informal photos of teh guests enjoying themselves which was particularly good for me because I knew lots of there friends from either past weddings or studio work and from growing up where I did.
We then headed into the wedding breakfast for a fun filled bumper few hours and were entertained by the 3 waiters as well as some great dancing and then speeches and then some more dancing and singing and drinking and cake cutting and wow what a cake it was thanks to ispiration cakes and then the bouquet toss and the find the ring game which is apparently an Italian classic at weddings before we moved onto the first (yeah right) dance which was equally as mad as the rest of the dancing,
All in all it was an amazing wedding and I would like to Neil and Becci for looking after us and a great big thanks to Gareth for coming along as well, it was great fun mate.
Now I think I need a week off
happy days………..
Jules, Sue and Gareth.

On Friday we joined Tom and Hannah for their relaxed and beautiful wedding at the newly opened East Close Hotel in the New Forest on what was a warm but breezy day which thankfully stayed dry. We started our day with Hannah and her parents at her parents home in Nomansland near Salisbury for some very relaxed preparation shots as well as a few lovely portraits in the garden before we headed off to the East Close hotel for the ceremony.
When we arrived we found the boys in the bar and had a few moments with them before Hannah arrived in style being driven by her dad in his Morgan which was amazing. We then headed into a lovely ceremony and then out onto the lawns for a couple of hours with the guests sipping champagne and enjoying a few nibbles whilst we took some lovely relaxed photos both formal and informal.
After a couple of hours we went into the wedding breakfast which was followed by some great speeches from the usual 3 as well as a few other Norwegian guests and Sam, Hannah’s brother.
We then headed into dance with tunes from Under the Covers which was fab.
We also bumped into Kevin and Rachel who’s wedding we shot back in 2006 which was just great.

On Thursday we joined Jonathan and Sarah for our very first Northbrook Park wedding, Northbrook Park is an absolute stunning venue and the staff were very helpful and efficient, Our day was helped along by Louise who did an amazing job and was very helpful indeed.
We started our day with a few preparation shots with sarah and the girls whilst popping down to grab a few of the very nervous groom as and when we could, We were then led to the beautiful ceremony room by Toastmaster Geoffrey Cornwell, it was our first wedding with Geoff but I sincerely hope not our last, He was just the most helpful Toastie ever keeping the day flowing perfectly and continually with a happy face and chirpy smile,
After the ceremony we had a wonderful champagne reception in the beautiful gardens followed by a stroll around the lake and grounds to grab a few portraits, Northbrook Park is one of those places where every step opens up new photo opportunities. We then headed into dinner which was fab and then onto some great speeches thanks especially to Jonathan’s brother Peter who gave a short but very emotional speech, Pete, you will be pleased to know I have not blogged any of them![]()
We then got into the dancing thanks to our friends and great DJ’s at firstdancedjs. who kept us all entertained until Jonathan decided to stand up and sing Wonderwall to his new bride which was quite emotional when the whole room erupted into the chorus.
We then went back out into the garden for some chinese lanterns. All in all a great wedding.
Thanks guys

From the first time that we met Ash and Jo I just knew that their wedding was going to be fantastic, They are an amazing couple, very relaxed and fun, Jo is a Dr and Ash is Maverick from Top Gun
well he thinks he is anyway lol, We started our day at Jo’s parents home in Beaulieu for some relaxed hair and makeup and lots and lots of sandwiches (thanks Dad) before we left to Meet Ash and his best man John in the Montague Arms and then a gentle stroll to the beautiful Beaulieu Abbey.
A little later Jo arrived looking amazing in her Dad’s lovely Bentley and then the amazing ceremony took place, Beaulieu Abbey is such a gorgeous church and we all enjoyed the service, Outside afterwards Champagne was served and just as deserved the sun shone throughout, We took a few family photos and then took Ash and Jo for a walk for some amazing portraits before heading into the Domus for the wedding breakfast .
After a very relaxed meal the speeches started and everything erupted once John started with a few choice photos of Ash but I am pleased to say that Ash still retained sis Maverick title despite what John did to destroy it
We then headed off for the most romantic first dance ever, this was the first time that I had seen Sue cry during a first dance with DJ Mike Sullivan who was amazing,
We finished on a lovely evening shot outside, Fantastic wedding………..You guys are quite simply made for each other !
Jules x
