Getting to know us.

Hello and welcome to our blog – well this is more than our blog really as it’s an online journal of our working life with a few personal adventures thrown into the mix, which should all make for an exciting read. It’s also an ideal place for us to keep in touch with our past, future and existing clients.

First and foremost Sue & I are wedding photographers so to be fair most of what you experience here will be wedding related, but we also enjoy contemporary portraiture both in our modern studio and around Hampshire and especially in the New Forest.

We also hope this blog with be a great informative source for those looking for a wedding or a portrait photographer as well as most other things photography related.

Sebastian and Carrie get married!

On Saturday we joined Sebastian and Carrie for there wedding day, we started our cold but dry day at Rhinefield House for a few preparation photos with Carrie and the girls and later, Seb and the boys, Carrie was looked after by Michelle who as always did a great job.  After a few photos we all headed off to the ceremony which took place at the beautiful Highcliffe Castle where we were greeted by the Michelmersh silver band which sounded amazing.

After a truly romantic service where Sebastian and Carrie seemed to cry thorough out we headed off outside for a few photos before heading back to Rhinefield House for more photos and a second drinks reception. We took Seb and Carrie off for a few portraits and then headed in to the wedding breakfast which was followed by speeches and then dancing with Rufus stone.

Winter weddings

As I am sat here this morning waiting to leave for todays wedding it got me thinking about just how much I love winter weddings. Over the past few years we have been doing more and more winter wedding and we both have loved them, this year we have more than ever and its wonderful. During previous years our winter weddings have mostly been local to Hampshire and Dorset, But not always, in fact we did Cornwall and Devon a couple of years ago and this year we have already visited Cornwall and soon we are up in Surrey and then Berkshire which is great. We often stay over the night before our weddings as we did in Cornwall which just takes all the pressure out of travelling.

Last year for the first time we started to offer a winter discount for our weddings between Oct 1st and April 30th and unlike a lot of offers ours is a genuine reduction because you get exactly the same service and products as you do with our peak packages making them fantastic value and will help with your budget.

If your interested in a winter wedding win Hampshire, Dorset, Surrey or anywhere in the Uk please take a look through our winter weddings featured on our website or here on our blog by searching the archives, I think you will agree that we have shot some amazing winter weddings.

Please let us know if we can help you, you can download our peak prices on our documents page but please contact us for a winter pricelist which differs depending on your winter wedding date and location.
