After the ceremony we left for Great Fosters which was a 25 minute drive. On arrival we decided to head off into the gardens with Jonathan and Emma for a few lovely portraits whilst the guests arrived which is a great way to fill this time if there is a distance beteween the ceremony venue and the reception venue.

After our portraits and a few family photos we all headed in out of the cold to enjoy the rest of the reception,  Then into the wedding breakfast for a yummy Lamb meal before some emotional and very funny speeches and onto the dancing, the whole day flew by and before we knew it we were saying our goodbye’s.

This was our first wedding at Great Fosters and I am sure it wont be our last, its a great venue and the management and staff are just amazing,

Last week my Sister and her partner came for a visit to get the kids photographed,  its probably been 10 months since we photographed them.  We had a lovely couple of hours and got some great photos, I would post a few of Nikki and Kevin but she would shoot me

As you can see, Just like there Uncle Jules they are both gorgeous

Being boggy underfoot did not stop Sue suggesting that I lay down for the “shooting through the flower shot” yeah she is all heart.   We do an engagement shoot with all our couples, its a great way to get to know them better and a fine excuse for a coffee as well.

After a truly romantic service where Sebastian and Carrie seemed to cry thorough out we headed off outside for a few photos before heading back to Rhinefield House for more photos and a second drinks reception. We took Seb and Carrie off for a few portraits and then headed in to the wedding breakfast which was followed by speeches and then dancing with Rufus stone.

Yesterday we ran a one 2 one Boudoir photography workshop well actually it was a one 2 two workshop because Iain and Louise both joined us and because they were from the same studio we did both together as one workshop.

We had a great day starting at 08:30 and finishing at 5pm and we were all totally shattered, We had 2 great models, Amy and Ruth, we have worked with them both several times and as always they were great.

Looking at the photo’s briefly this morning, I am delighted with them and know that Iain and Louise will be too, I will post a few later over on our Boudoir website.

Sue & I drove down to Cornwall the day before the wedding and stayed over in our fav Travel-lodge (yes we know how to live it up)  That evening we drove to Marie’s parents farm to meet them and then to the lovely chapel where they got married and then the venue just to make the wedding day a little easier.

On the morning of the wedding we started our day with Marie at the farm who was surrounded by her lovely friends and family as well as her makeup and hair artist Cornelius who did a great job and was quite the character to work with, We then left to meet Dan and the boys at the Chapel for a few shots before Marie arrived looking amazing. After a truly wonderful service we headed off with Just Marie and Dan for a few shots down by the Beach which was fab as you can see from the shots below, we then headed off to the venue just up the road for some lovely photos outside in the brisk but brief sunshine.

We then headed in for a wonderful warming wedding breakfast followed by some great speeches, later Dan and Marie got down to some serious dancing whilst Sue & I headed off home exhausted after a fantastic day.

We started our day at Rhinefield house with Leanne for a few relaxed prep shots and then drove to the local pub to meet Donald and the lads before leaving for the church, we had a lovely service and came out to the most amazing weather for a few relaxed shots and then off to Rhinefield house for a lovely reception all helped out by the resident toastmaster David Thompson who as always helped the day run smooth.

After a lovely time on the lawns we headed in for the wedding breakfast and then some great speeches,

We then went into dance with a great band before we did our night shot, another great Rhinefield house wedding.

Donald is a Major in the British Army and Leanne is also a serving officer who is about to leave for a tour of Afghanistan,  Sue & I wish here a safe trip x
