Weddings with ice cream and a little fun!

I thought I would write a little blog post about Abbie and Tyrone who’s wedding we shot a couple of years ago in Exbury Gardens in the New Forest,  Abbie and Tyrone own and run a great Ice cream business which caters for all occasions including weddings.

Based in Brockenhurst, in the heart of the New Forest National Park, they can often be seen around the village where locals and tourists alike can ‘Stop Me and Buy One’. they also attend many different types of events. This is a fun way to be served a refreshing ice cream and always an interesting talking point.

Abbie and Tyrone travel all over Hampshire and Dorset for weddings and beyond so if you fancy something different during your wedding, maybe a real sweet treat canape which your guests will love, and of course they make great photos!

Pre Wedding shoot at Rhinefield House Hampshire

On Sunday we met with Daryl and Charissa for a pre wedding shoot at Rhinefield house where they are getting married in June. Although it was dry it was brisk so we had a quick walk around the grounds before enjoying a coffee in the lounge where we met up with our friend and Rhinefield Toastmaster David Thompson who will be looking after there big day.

Sue and I photograph around 40 weddings each year and 10 of those  weddings each year at Rhinefield House and have already photographed 2 this year, its our most popular venues and we both love working there.

Engagement shoots at Chilworth manor southampton and Audleys wood basingstoke

Here are a couple more engagement shoots, The first is Richard and Sonia who are getting married next month, Sonia found us after we photographed her friend Beki and Jo’s wedding last February, we are both looking forward to there wedding up at the Chilworth Manor.

This next Couple is Katie and Andy  who we met when we photographed Katie’s sisters wedding last year, Becky and George, its great when we get to photograph sisters, we already feel like we know everyone.  Katie and Andy are getting married in Audleys wood next December and I am sure it will be a fab day just like our last december wedding there with Mel and Russ.

Isabella’s shoot

On Sunday we had a wonderful shoot with Isabella and her Mummy and Daddy,  we met them last year at there Auntie Michelle and Uncle Ollie’s wedding and had a great day with them, Michelle purchased a voucher for Christina so they came down for a shoot,  We all had a great time and after a couple of hours with Isabella the one thing thats clear is, she is just like her Uncle Ollie, she never sits still or stops giggling:-)

We hope you enjoy our new blog!

Sue and I have been working hard these past few days updating all 5 of our blogs, we are doing well and this one our main blog is now finished, We would love to know what you think ?

Our last blog was designed for us and was state of the art when we launched it a couple of years ago but blogging software has come on so far that we decided to upgrade again and we are delighted with the results,   we have added sidebars which make finding us elsewhere really easy and we would love to see you all on our facebook group or on twitter so feel free to join and say hi!

Wedding at Great Fosters with Jonathan and Emma

On Saturday we joined Jonathan and Emma for there winter wedding at Great Fosters in Surrey on what was a cold but wonderfully sunny day.   We started our day with Emma at her parents house for some lovely relaxed preparation photos before heading off to the pub to meet with Jonathan and the boys.  Soon after we headed off to the Church for the ceremony.

After the ceremony we left for Great Fosters which was a 25 minute drive. On arrival we decided to head off into the gardens with Jonathan and Emma for a few lovely portraits whilst the guests arrived which is a great way to fill this time if there is a distance beteween the ceremony venue and the reception venue.

After our portraits and a few family photos we all headed in out of the cold to enjoy the rest of the reception,  Then into the wedding breakfast for a yummy Lamb meal before some emotional and very funny speeches and onto the dancing, the whole day flew by and before we knew it we were saying our goodbye’s.

This was our first wedding at Great Fosters and I am sure it wont be our last, its a great venue and the management and staff are just amazing,

My Baby Sis…..

Last week my Sister and her partner came for a visit to get the kids photographed,  its probably been 10 months since we photographed them.  We had a lovely couple of hours and got some great photos, I would post a few of Nikki and Kevin but she would shoot me:-)
