On Saturday we joined Carl and Lucy for there wedding in Southampton, we started our day with Lucy and the girls for a few fun prep shots, We met with our good friend and MUA Helen Spencer ( we actually know Lucy because she is a MUA) Then after an hour or so we met with Carl down the local pub which seems to be the norm for us !
After a few quick rainy and windswept photos we arrived at St Bonniface Church in Chandlers ford which is one of my favorite churches locally for a beautiful ceremony. Because of the rain we stayed inside for our family photos before heading into central southampton to The White Star Hotel where a drinks reception was waiting.
We took Carl and Lucy our for a few shots whilst we had a breif break in the weather and then settled in for a lovely meal and some great speeches followed by some pretty groovy dancing,
A great wedding to start 2010

Sue and I poped out to see the new Limewood Hotel in the new forest and its amazing,Its quite exciting having this hotel on our doorstep and after a 5 year design, plan and build project it did not disappoint, We are both looking forward to our first Limewood hotel wedding which I am pretty sure wont be too far away,
Its great to see Hampshire getting yet another great wedding venue,
We joined Rich and Lizzie for there beautiful wedding at Wentworth Club last wednesday 30th December and it was a great way to finish our weddings for 2009 and in fact the decade, Although to be fair we are straight back into action on the 16th January with Carl and Lucy.
We started our day with Lizzie and the girls at Wentworth on what was a cold and very wet December morning, we had a great time photographing all the little details before we headed off to the driving range with Richard and the lads and although Richard was the best driver on the day, everybody enjoyed it especially Sue & I although I do think it should be re-classified as a dangerous sport ! Where does one stand to photograph golfers?
After a while with the boys we headed off upstairs to see Lucy again who was looking fantastic and entertaining quite a few family members with a pre wedding glass of bubbles, we then headed off for a wonderful ceremony and afterwards a nice and warm drinks reception in the main lounge.
After a little while Rich decided he wanted to get outside despite the rain, so we grabbed a couple of golf buggies and headed off down to the lakes for some great portraits and although it was groggy weather Rich and Lizzie were fantastic although Richards buggy driving was, well lets just say he did not hang around,
Later after a wonderful Lamb meal we all chilled out in the lounge again whilst waiting for the band to setup and then we headed into dance.
Sue & I have had some fantastic weddings during 2009 and this was a wonderful wedding to finish on,
Thanks guys for looking after us and being such good fun despite the weather,
Jules & Sue x
