We are both very conscious of the fact that our success during 2009 could not have been achieved without the loyalty and support of our friends and clients. Thank you for your support and custom it really is very much appreciated.

Yesterday we joined Becci and Bob for their Christmas wedding at Elmers Clout in the new forest,  We started our day at Becci’s parents house in sway where we took a few details shots before heading off to the pub to see Bob and the boys before the short walk to the local church where we took a few arrivals although were sadly not allowed any photography during the service such a shame considering it was such a cold day as well.

After the service we all headed off to Elmers Court but we did stop off in the forest for a couple of quick shots on the way,  we then arrived at Elmers where it was a little warmer, after a few fun indoor shots by the christmas tree we headed into diner and then some speeches before most of the guests whiled away an hour playing table games which was very festive.

We then had some great dancing before Sue & I headed off home for a hot drink,  It was a great day but  a very cold one,

Sue & I were very pleased that Mrs White (Roberts Mum) was able to make part of the wedding and wish her a speedy recovery.

On Sunday Sue & I joined Justin and Esther at Audleys Wood in Basingstoke for there beautiful wedding,  We started our day at Esther’s parents home where we had worked a couple of years ago when we shot Esther’s sister, Vanessa’s wedding and we received a wonderfully warm welcome.  We had a great couple of hours photographing Esther and the girls as well as Esther and Justin’s doggie Lupin who is actually a boy dog despite being called Lu Lu, he he he…

We then headed off to the church in Mapledurwell to meet with the boys for a few shots, soon after Esther arrived looking sensational in her beautiful wedding dress and her snazzy irregular choice shoes,  that is one cool website and well worth checking out if you have an hour to spare anyway these shoes looked amazing.

After a beautiful service and a few photos we headed off to Audleys wood where we had a lovely champagne reception and even a few photos in the sub zero temperature which was brilliant and a bit of a surprise given the rain of late.  We then headed into the wedding breakfast and had a wonderful meal, Sue loved her Creme Brulee and did Roger who she was sat next to  We then had a wonderful evening kicked off by a couple of amazing dance routines, forst by Justin and Esther and the second by all the hen party girls, both were fantastic.

It was so lovely too see a lot of old friends and meet some new ones, Justin and Esther are off to Cuba and we wish them all the best.

Although it probably seems that we have been only shooting weddings this month from our blog posts, or lack of!  we have in fact been very busy with portraits but as is normal at this time of year, most of them are gifts so we cannot post until January but lots of new shoots to look forward too,

I think we are about finished with portrait shoots now tho apart from viewings which are taking place early next week so that we can turn around a few things by christmas.

We still have 2 more weddings before Christmas, Justin and Esther today at Audleys Wood and then Becci and Bob next Saturday at Elmers Court so 2 great weddings at great locations before we chill out for a week or 2.

We then have a wedding at Wentworth Club on the 30th.

We are closing the studio this year on the 18th December so that we can shoot the wedding and then enjoy some family time until we return on the 4th Jan with an announcement of a new project for 2010 which we have been working on.

Yesterday we joined Peter and Nicola at New Place in Shirrel Heath for what was a wonderful wedding, Once again we were very lucky with the weather  and enjoyed a reasonably dry morning which fortunately stayed with us until we arrived at New Place.

Again we met with a previous couple at this weeks wedding, Rob and Rachel Moore were friends who recommended us, we shot there wedding back in 2006, many of you have probably seen the beautiful canvas we have of Rob and Rachel at Titchfield Abbey in our studio.

We started our day with Nicola and the girls at her home where there was a buzz of excitement and soon after we headed off to meet with Peter at the beautiful Holy Trinity church in Fareham where we also met our friend Tom from Winking Owl Films who was videoing the day.  After an amazing service with one of the best choirs we have ever heard we headed off promptly to New Place where a drinks reception of Mulled wine was waiting to warm everyone up.  we decided to do all of our family photos inside with the exception of the everybody shot which looked great out in the courtyard.

We then headed into diner where a surprise awaited everyone, after the mains had been served the Singing Waiters from Opera on the Run popped up and started there 20 minute show which brought the room to life in a big way, we tehn had some very emotional speeches and a great dance played by a couple of friends on there guitars.

All in all it was a wonderful wedding with great people,
