Last Sunday we met up with Justin and Esther for there pre wedding shoot up at Audleys Wood where they are getting married in December. We had a great time chatting through there wedding plans and look forward to seeing them again for there wonderful winter wedding.
On Saturday we joined Paddy and Claire for the most amazing wedding day at the Nutfield Priory in Surrey, I know I use the word amazing often but this really was an amazing day, We first met Paddy and Claire when we photographed Claire’s sisters wedding last year and Emily, Claire’s daughter was then a bridesmaid for Ian and Joanne, We had a great day then and hit it off straight away with the families and with Paddy and Claire, Paddy and Claire are VERY keen photographers so we had plenty to talk about and Sue & I were chuffed when Claire emailed us to book us up.
We arrived at the Nutfield Priory a couple hours early as we always do and for the whole 2 hours we were sat chatting to family members and drinking coffee (thanks Sheila), it really was just like photographing one of our own family events, so much so that Sue Cried a couple of times through-out the day
I was a big brave soldier and battled on.
Emily was once again the Bridesmaid and she did a wonderful job, she did a reading during the service and a speech after the wedding breakfast which was incredible for an 11 year old, Paddy and Claire are I know, immensely proud of her as was everyone in the room including the staff.
Although it was a dull wet day I could not once see anybody not enjoying themselves especially Paddy and Claire and Sue & I had a great day. We stayed into the evening when the dancing was in full fling and had a wonderful drive home, all in all a great wedding.

Tonight was the last night on the lakes and it was a beautiful night to end our short break, we have both had a fab time and thank you all so much for your patience whilst we have been away.

Today Sue & I decided to rent a little boat and sail around lake Windermere for the day, we chose a great day because there were several races going on, we will post a few more when we get home.

After a wonderful few days in Scotland we had a great trip down to Lake Windermere this morning and are staying at the beautiful Low Wood hotel which is right on the lake.
On route we stopped of at Gretna Green and the chap in charge took our photo once he realised we were wedding togs,

Well yesterday we met up with a couple of pals from up here, wedding photographers Duncan and Angela Boyd so I never got a chance to post anything, but here is wednesday mornings view which I thought could not be beaten, Until Sue woke me this morning that was !
Today we head down to Cumbria and the lakes so a different set of views

First here is one from last night taken again from our room balcony, I just love the colours from this one, and yes I know my horizon is out and I will sort it when im home at my editing mac
And this one was about 7:20 this morning, same boat as yesterday but the Loch was like a mill pond, we are having a fab time up here and enjoying the landscapes and walks a lot, as well as the grub

Yesterday we joined Gary and Faye for their lovely wedding at Steeple court Manor in Botley and it was an amazing day both weather and wedding wise, we started the day with Faye at home for a very emotional couple of hours before we met with Gary and the lads at St Monicas church sholing.
After the service we took a few photos at the church before heading back to Steeple court Manor for some relaxed garden shots before diner.
After diner we had some great speeches and then some dancing to end the night,
All in all a fab wedding
