On Friday we joined Dan and Jo for their wonderful wedding at the Spreadeagle Hotel in Midhurst West Sussex. Last year on Christmas Eve we photographed Dan’s brother Roger’s wedding in Midhurst when he married Jasmine so we knew we were in for another great “Davey” wedding and we were not disappointed. I was a little sad because Jo was giving up her surname “Porter” can you even imagine why she would want to be J Davey when she was J Porter !![]()
We started our day with Jo and her children Izzie and Anna (banana) for some lovely preparation shots before heading off to the pub with dan and the lads, after that we headed on back to meet the registrars for a lovely ceremony in the Polo Room which is an amazing place to get married. Then out into the beautiful gardens for some fun and of course bubbly and nibbles ( I cant spell canapé’s ) before a few family photos and soem wonderful portraits of the new Davey family.
After that Horris called us in for the most amazing buffet which was followed by the speeches and then more realizing in the garden whilst the band setup in the gorgeous jacobean room. We were then entertained by the band The Move-Ons who were just fantastic and when Sue & I eventually left everybody was up and dancing,
We always have great weddings at the Speadeagle hotel, It has beautiful gardens and amazing architecture and history and the beautiful rooms and if we ever get rain we also have the luxury of the conservatory so from a photography point of view its a win win and as we have said before the staff are just amazing from start to finish.
Thanks again to Emma and Horris for looking after Sue & I and to everybody at the wedding for being so much fun
Jules x
