On Saturday Sue & I joined Alan and Kelly at Norton Park nr Winchester for their wonderful wedding day. We met Alan and Kelly last year and have been looking forward to spending the day with them ever since, we started the day with Kelly and Julia and Olivia and Jessica along with mum whilst they had their hair and makeup done in the Manor House, we then popped over to see Alan and the lads who were as is usual finishing off all the last minute details like “who knows how to tie my cravat”.
We then had a beautiful ceremony in the Barn with 2 wonderful readings One of the readers, Alan’s young nephew read a Robby Burns poem and the whole room was in tears except me of course
, it was very emotional. We then all went out into the gardens for drinks and photos in the apple orchard as well as down by the lake.
We then had a wonderful wedding breakfast before some very entertaining speeches and then some great dancing with both a wonderful DJ and a great band.
All in all a pretty perfect wedding on what turned out to be a pretty perfect day,
