Every now and then I get an email that literally rocks my world and one I received this morning did just that, In February we photographed Jo and Beki’s wedding which was without a doubt a top day, we had gotten to know Jo and Beki during 2008 and had a blast at their wedding,
Here is the email Jo and Beki sent:
“Dear Jules & Sue
From the moment I first emailed you, and you emailed straight back from your sun lounger in Florida, you made us feel like we were the most important people in the world. You were the first of three wedding photographers we had appointments with; after our meeting we cancelled the rest! You and Sue made us feel like friends rather than prospective client’s right from the start and we loved your informal fun approach to photography and all the professionalism backing it up.
We loved getting to know you through our engagement photo shoot and had so much fun trying to keep Smokey, our dog, under control whilst in the New Forest! You have the patience of a saint! It didn’t feel like a photo shoot – more like friends out for a walk taking some fun shots along the way. Getting to know you beyond doubt made us a lot more at ease and trusting of you on our wedding day.
From the moment you and Sue arrived at my parent’s on the morning of the wedding you brought a buzz and laughter to the day. You were both never once intrusive, but always ready to catch the memories as they happened. I absolutely love looking back on our beautiful album that you designed as it captures such fleeting moments. Moments that would have passed Jo and me by unnoticed had it not been for you.
All of our guests have commented on how wonderful the photos are and how fun and friendly you both were on the day. In fact I think you are now friends with a lot of them on Facebook! Having been to other weddings I can definitely say that you aren’t the typical, formal wedding photographer; you captured so much more than the formal group shots, such as people chatting amongst themselves not noticing they were being photographed, and an amazing shot of our young flower girl looking through the gap between Jo and me at the Altar. We can never thank you enough for capturing everything we could have wished for and more.
I can’t wait for the next photo shoot with you – ours is now a friendship I hope will last a lot longer than our wedding day.
