Yesterday we had our first wedding since Christmas eve and it was a brilliant start to the year, Jo and Beki booked us last January just as we arrived home from Naples in Florida, Since that day we have both been looking forward to their wedding and I am pleased to say it was worth the wait.
We started the day with Beki at her parents house in Ower whist she was having hair and makeup, Makeup was done by our friend Helen Spencer and Hair by Becky, working with these two made the morning fly by, what with photographing Beki and chasing Abi the flower girl we were kept pretty busy.
We then left for the White Horse to meet Jo and the lads who had arrived in a gorgeous DB5 so needless to say we played with that for a little while,
When Beki arrived at the church in her Dad’s Lagonda she took everyones breath away, she looked sensational and was the perfect bride !
They were married in St Mathews church in Netley Marsh by a service carried out by Jo’s Mum Deborah which was very mooving.
After the service Beki was surprised to see her horse Andy had come to the church, this was great because Beki has had Andy since she was nine years old, lots of tears followed.
We then left for Elmers and after a short drive arrived to a wonderful Champagne reception before a few photos out on the lawn. Beki then put on her pink wellies and off we all went for some great portraits and a wonderfully good time splashing around in the puddles,
Later in the evening we had some wonderful speeches before some great dancing, Sue & I like everyone else yesterday had a wonderful time, Thanks Jo and Beki for making our first wedding of 2009 one that we will remember for a good long time,
