Paul and Emily @ The Gate Street Barn

On Friday we travelled to the Gate Street Barn in Surrey to Join Paul and Emily for there beautiful wedding. When we arrived the weather looked far from perfect but as seems to be the way for 2008 things started to improve shortly after we started.

We met with Paul and the lads for a few fun shots whilst we waited for the guests to arrive and soon enough the coach turned up full of smiley guests followed shortly by Emma in a lovely little Morris Minor, after a few more pre wedding shots we went into the barn for the ceremony which was beautifully decorated with flowers by Gill Pike.

After a brief but beautiful ceremony we took Paul and Emily off for 10 minutes for a few portraits before heading back for a few family groups all achieved before the rain set in again which was just perfect because we were all called in for a scrummy wedding breakfast thanks to Jo and Nigel from Piglets.

Later everybody got down to some serious dancing thanks to the wonderful Buzz Lightweights.

Ed and Hannah @ Winchester Guildhall

On Saturday we joined Edward and Hannah for their wedding in Winchester on what again turned out to be a perfect day for a wedding.

We started to day with Hannah and the girls ( and Alasdair ) at home for a few prep shots, Or so we thought, What we really went to was Hannah’s house of fun….. for what was a great pre wedding hour or two, My only saving grace was Alasdair saved me from the 8 or so woman there:)

We then left to meet Edward and Best man Carl at St Bartholomew’s church in Winchester and then we had a lovely ceremony conducted by The Reverend Michael Starr  before a few group photo’s over in the park. The guests then left on a coach for the Guildhall and I stayed with Edward and Hannah for a few portraits in the park.

After a very quick (thanks Pauly) trip back to the Guildhall Guidhall in an RS 6 we had a lovely drinks reception and then a few shots in the park next door before a wonderful wedding breakfast.

But thats when the fun really started, For some reason Edward and Hannah decided to put Sue & I on the Naughty table !!!  and obviously they were naughty but I can honestly (well almost honestly) say that we had nothing to do with the rigging of the competition and we were robbed by the awful judges!!!!!

After the speeches and the bitter disappointment of loosing out on our magnum of bubbly we decided to make all the bridal party walk off there dinner with a trip up the high street for a few photos. We then returned to party and dance for the rest of the night,

Sue & I had a fantastic day with a great bunch of people ( except those that cheated us ) and look forward to showing you all our photos.
