Ian & Joanne @ Salomons

On Saturday we travelled to Tunbridge Wells to join Ian and Joanne at their wedding at Salomons. The weather was just perfect and we started our day with a few details in and around the beautiful grounds.

We then met with Joanne for a few pre wedding photo’s of her and her lovely Bridesmaid  Emily whilst having their makeup done by Juliet of Makeup Angels.

We then met with Ian and the boys before heading off back to Joanne.

Ian and Joanne had decided on an outside ceremony and as you can see from the photo’s it was a great decision as the sun shone throughout.

After a few drinks and a few more photo’s we headed on back into the wedding breakfast which was amazing especially the Creme Brulee ! (sorry Ian)

After the speeches we had cake and coffee, the cake was fantastic, not only did it look a million dollars but it tasted perfect, all made by Joanne’s Mum.

We then had a few more photo’s outside and then dancing. Later in the evening Joanne had organized a surprise for Ian and had arranged for Tom Jones to make an appearance and sing a few songs:) all in all a perfect way to end a perfect wedding day.

I often praise the ushers at our weddings but Roshan, Barry and Matt were a notch above. They were definitely the business, Thanks Guys,

Aaron and Giordana @ The Lemon Tree

On Friday we joined Aaron and Giordana for their wedding in Maidenhead on what turned out to be the first of 2 wonderful days.  We started the day with Giordana and her Mum Dee at The Hotel Du Vin in Henley Upon Thames for a few preparation photo’s before Sue & I left to meet Aaron and the guys at St Lukes Church in Maidenhead.

After a beautiful ceremony Sue & I took Aaron and Giordana to a secret location which was all my idea despite what Aaron might say;). We took a few amazing photographs in wonderful sunshine and generally enjoyed 30 minutes away from the crowds.

We then headed back to Aaron and Giordana’s pub The Lemon Tree for a champagne reception on the lawn followed by a seafood banquet and a BBQ and fine music by the Live Band of Steve Trowell.

Everyone chilled out late into the evening.

Martyn and Sahira @ Whitley Ridge

On Sunday we joined Martyn and Sahira for their wedding at Whitley Ridge in the New Forest on yet another Summers day.

We started the day for a few detail shots with Sahira and then a few shots with Martyn and Bestman Steve as well as a few guests before we went in for a very romantic and emotive ceremony full of tears and laughter from most of the guests.

After the ceremony we all went into the courtyard warmed by an open fire which just took the chill off as the sun peeked in and out for strawberries and champagne as well as a few very nice nibbles.

We then wandered around the gardens for some relaxed photographs with all of the guest and then a few with just Martyn and Sahira, we then went into the wedding breakfast where we started off with speeches and cake cutting before the happy couple and their guests enjoyed some of Whitley’s award winning food from Le Poussin.

Lee and Hayley @ The Inn on the Green

On Saturday as well as being my Birthday we spent a lovely day with Lee, Hayley and their wonderful son Thomas at the Inn on the Green in Maidenhead.  It was a perfect day for a wedding and people arrived early to make the most of the gardens and of course the champagne:).

Sue & I met with Lee and the guys for a few pre wedding portraits before Hayley arrived in a wonderful Bentley driven by a good family friend. We then had a perfect ceremony with a couple of lovely registrars before spending a couple of hours on the lawns, After a few photo’s we had a scrummy wedding breakfast followed by some very emotional speeches and then again we all went into the gardens before heading back into dance.

Sue & I had a great day and it was a perfect way to spend my Birthday, I was totally shocked when the first thing that both Lee and Hayley said to me on their special day was “Happy Birthday Jules”   I could not have chosen better people to spend it with.

Mr & Mrs George @ Rhinefield

Our second wedding this week was also at Rhinefield House and was on Friday with George and Becky AKA Mr & Mrs George:).

George and Becky came to see Sue & I in February and we hit it off straight away and started to plan our day together, George is a Pilot in the Navy and Becky works for BA so we knew it would be a fun day and it would include our second Rhinefield Fly-By but this time in a Helicoptor.

We started the day with Becky and the girls who were being looked after by Michelle from Hampshire Bridal Hair and Melanie from Cosmetique,  a few bottles of pink champagne later Sue & i decided to go see George and the boys for a few relaxed pre wedding shots which turned out to be great fun and we were joined by Maurice of Marlizara Video who stayed for the day along with his wife Sharon.

The Grand hall was decorated with flowers from our good friend Natalie from Flowers by Design who also did all of Becky’s flowers for the day and as always they looked amazing.

We then had a wonderful ceremony with a few tears (mainly from George) before a wonderful Sword Arch thanks to George’s Navy chums and then George and Becky were off for a trip in a car from Barnes Limos thanks to Becky’s mum Debbie who had arranged it as a surprise.

After a few photo’s on the back lawn and then some lovely portraits we had a great wedding breakfast and then some more tearful speeches before the real action of the day started.  The Chocolate fountain and Music which in turn led to some fancy footwork.

Sue & I had a wonderful day with everyone and thanks to David Pretty Toastmaster for his help.

Cliff and Cindy @ Rhinefield House

A couple of months ago Clifford emailed me about his wedding in September in Hong Kong saying how much he loved our photo’s and that he would love us to shoot his wedding but with logistics etc they decided to travel to the UK and recreate their wedding here at Rhinefield House.

We met them early on Wednesday morning and had a wonderful day around Rhinefield taking some wonderfully relaxed portraits as well as a few formal shots for their album which we will be sending on to Hong Kong for their wedding day with their families.

We had a wonderful day with Cliff and Cindy and of course wish them all the happiness in the world and a safe trip home.
