On Saturday Sue & I were invited to join Dave and Allie at their wedding at Porchester castle.  Dave and Allie first contacted us in January and Allie was wildly jealous that I was replying to her emails whilst enjoying a beer by our pool in Florida in 85′ sunshine.

I am so pleased to say that as promised we brought the weather with us and again we basked in glorious sunshine

We started the day with Allie at home along with Helen and Emma and her Mum Mary who incidentally has fantastic Exfoliated cuticles  ( in joke honestly )  and from there we left to meet with Dave and the boys at St Mary’s Church at the castle. The previous wedding was running late so we spent a few minutes outside the gates which was fun before walking down to St Mary’s.

Allie and her Dad arrived in style thanks to Osborn Wedding cars in a beautiful Rolls Royce before being led into a wonderful service.

After the service we took a few family groups in the grounds and then spent 15 minutes with just Dave and Allie doing a few portraits before leaving for the reception venue the Lysses House Hotel in Fareham where all the guests were waiting for us.

We spent the afternoon enjoying the sun and then a very tasty wedding breakfast and some very entertaining speeches.

We then spent an hour or two in the evening sun before heading indoors to Tunes from Gary Ashman Roadshow ( 01489 578136 ) and the first dance, Sue and I headed off home as the evening buffet was served having had a great day.

On Saturday we traveled to Steeple Aston to photograph the wedding of Mike and Beth at the Holt Hotel and yet again we were blessed with great weather.

We started our day at the church with Mike and the boys for a few relaxed photos before Beth arrived in style thanks to the guys at Platinum Wedding Cards in Brackley.

The church service was made even more special because Beth is a school teacher and her kids all came along to wish her and Mike well and of course pose for a piccie

We then traveled to the Holt for a few photo’s and then a superb wedding breakfast before enjoying an evening of late sun and dancing.

On Friday we traveled to Alexander house for the second time this month to photograph another beautiful wedding. We met Dan and Nicola when we photographed Dan’s Brothers wedding (Ben and Emily) last year at the Captains Club and we were very happy when they chose us to join them at their wedding.

The day started with Nicola at her Parents house in Horsham where we met the girls and did a few preparation photo’s, We then met Dan at St Mary’s Church in Horsham for a few shots before Nicola arrived in a beautiful Rolls Royce From Something Old Something New with her Dad.

We then had a truly wonderful wedding service which was very moving and joyous in a church full of friends and family all of us came away feeling very happy indeed.

We then drove to Alexander House for what turned out to be a better than expected afternoon on the lawn with lots of champagne and laughter as well as a few portraits.

After a great wedding breakfast we had some very nervous speeches and then a few more portraits before heading in to dance.  When Sue & I left the music was blaring away  and lots of people were dancing.

It was great to see all of Dan’s family again and lovely to meet Nicola’s family and were both looking forward to the next wedding

On Saturday Sue and  I joined Jody and Kate for their beutiful wedding in Farringdon which is between us here in Southampton and Alton.

We started the day at Kate’s parents house where Kate was getting ready with help from the 3 amazing flower girls Mary, Evelyn and Kitty, Whilst Kate prepared for her big day everybody else was working away preparing the marquee in the garden which looked great thanks to Teressa the wedding planner and The wonderful florists who we will hopefully link here soon.

We then traveled to All saints church in Farringdon to a wonderful service led by our friend Rev’d Tony Pears whom we have worked with on several occasions.

After the service Jody and Kate traveled back home in a lovely Phantom followed by us and we were closely followed by Mum and Dad in their Porsche.

After an hour relaxing on the lawn we were led into the Marquee for the wedding breakfast and speeches, we then took Jody and Kate for a few portraits before the big dance.

We were again so lucky with the weather and had a fab day.

This Sunday we finished our busy weekend with Matt and Mary at our favorite Hampshire venue, Rhinefield House and it was our third trip there this year.

We started the day with Mary and her Bridesmaids who were having there hair done when we arrived by Lynne from Beautiful Brides.

Mary’s flowers were from Exclusively Weddings and were amazing.

Matt and Mary had a wonderful relaxed day with there friends and family despite the worst possible weather forecast. After torrential morning rain the sun shone through and after a wonderful relaxed ceremony we all ventured out onto the drying lawn for champagne and nibbles.

We took Matt and Mary off for a walk and a few photographs and then went into dinner and speeches,

The evening was topped off with Music by the Gary Kittle from Sonic Roadshow and a wonderful chocolate fountain by Les Chocolatiers,

Matt and Mary were just wonderful to work with but then we all knew that didn’t we

On Saturday we travelled to Alexander House Hotel in Turners Hill for the first of 2 weddings their this month. Graham and Janine were blessed with such a wonderful day to celebrate there marriage.

We started the day with Graham and the boys and then Janine with the girls including Vanessa a Bridesmaid and her 4 day old Baby Oliver.

Janine’s wonderful flowers were supplied by Zara Flora.

We then had a wonderful ceremony before drinks on the south lawn followed but a few romantic walks and a few photographs.

We were joined at this wedding by our friend Leo Ferenc from Perfect Day Studios who video’d the wedding for Graham and Janine, Sue & I always enjoy working with Leo because his relaxed style fits in perfectly with ours.

The day was helped along by Toastmaster Alan Riddick who as always helped us throughout the day.

The evening was again very relaxed and we had music from KT Entertainments.
