Getting to know us.

Hello and welcome to our blog – well this is more than our blog really as it’s an online journal of our working life with a few personal adventures thrown into the mix, which should all make for an exciting read. It’s also an ideal place for us to keep in touch with our past, future and existing clients.

First and foremost Sue & I are wedding photographers so to be fair most of what you experience here will be wedding related, but we also enjoy contemporary portraiture both in our modern studio and around Hampshire and especially in the New Forest.

We will be posting a few pictures from each wedding and engagement sitting as well as from our portraits which we both hope you will enjoy and provide us with feedback.

We also hope this blog with be a great informative source for those looking for a wedding or a portrait photographer as well as most other things photography related.

Mr & Mrs George @ Rhinefield

Our second wedding this week was also at Rhinefield House and was on Friday with George and Becky AKA Mr & Mrs George :) .

George and Becky came to see Sue & I in February and we hit it off straight away and started to plan our day together, George is a Pilot in the Navy and Becky works for BA so we knew it would be a fun day and it would include our second Rhinefield Fly-By but this time in a Helicoptor.

We started the day with Becky and the girls who were being looked after by Michelle from Hampshire Bridal Hair and Melanie from Cosmetique,  a few bottles of pink champagne later Sue & i decided to go see George and the boys for a few relaxed pre wedding shots which turned out to be great fun and we were joined by Maurice of Marlizara Video who stayed for the day along with his wife Sharon.

The Grand hall was decorated with flowers from our good friend Natalie from Flowers by Design who also did all of Becky’s flowers for the day and as always they looked amazing.

We then had a wonderful ceremony with a few tears (mainly from George) before a wonderful Sword Arch thanks to George’s Navy chums and then George and Becky were off for a trip in a car from Barnes Limos thanks to Becky’s mum Debbie who had arranged it as a surprise.

After a few photo’s on the back lawn and then some lovely portraits we had a great wedding breakfast and then some more tearful speeches before the real action of the day started.  The Chocolate fountain and Music which in turn led to some fancy footwork.

Sue & I had a wonderful day with everyone and thanks to David Pretty Toastmaster for his help.

Cliff and Cindy @ Rhinefield House

A couple of months ago Clifford emailed me about his wedding in September in Hong Kong saying how much he loved our photo’s and that he would love us to shoot his wedding but with logistics etc they decided to travel to the UK and recreate their wedding here at Rhinefield House.

We met them early on Wednesday morning and had a wonderful day around Rhinefield taking some wonderfully relaxed portraits as well as a few formal shots for their album which we will be sending on to Hong Kong for their wedding day with their families.

We had a wonderful day with Cliff and Cindy and of course wish them all the happiness in the world and a safe trip home.
